Who We Are
The International Forum on Business Ethical Conduct (IFBEC) was created by member companies of the Aerospace Industries Association of America (AIA) and the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) in 2010. It provides an opportunity to exchange information on best practices in the area of ethical business practices and global trends among industry participants.
How to Join
Companies wishing to join the IFBEC must submit a copy of their Code of Conduct and a Company Statement signed by your IFBEC representative. Companies seeking to join must also execute a letter that affirms the company’s commitment to the Global Principles and mission of the IFBEC and also indicates the company’s agreement to be bound by the IFBEC charter and pay applicable membership fees based on a tiered dues structure pertaining to the organization’s annual revenue. The letter also stipulates whether the applicant company agrees to have its Company Statement posted on the IFBEC website, and whether it will allow the IFBEC to link from the company’s name on the IFBEC website to the company’s ethics website. A draft letter is available for companies to use to satisfy this requirement.
